Intensity of Red




An old piece from the 1920's. I have refurbished it with this deep, stunning red, also accentuating it with a deep brown stain.  Without the stain the red washes out the contours of the relief of the from patterns.  This is very effective and common with Asian pieces.

Simplicity of Black







Both pieces were quite bland, the lick of black accentuates the decor
